Seattle Salsa Dance News: Rio, Roda e Rueda Workshops - Samba, Salsa and more… - December 5, 2009
Letting you know about some fabulous workshops coming up Saturday, December 5th.
RIO, RODA e RUEDA is a collaborated effort of Bahia In Motion, Tudo Beleza and Dennis Richards to provide you with 3 hours of Brazilian Samba and Cuban Salsa! Explore Samba from its roots to its festive Carnaval flavor. Try the enticing and addicting Cuban Rueda. The workshops will leave you smiling and shining for the holiday season!
The workshops also serve as a food drive for Northwest Harvest. Please bring something to donate for those in need this Holiday Season.

Private instruction allows you to learn at your own pace and in your learning style. Maybe you want to learn something new, work out a few kinks, or learn in a more private setting.

Cost: Pricing for private instruction is the same with or without a partner. In other words, the cost is per lesson, not per person. For cost information for small groups, please call our studio at 206-633-5166.
- 45-minute lesson: $75
- 60-minute lesson: $100
Series Discount: If you sign up for a series of four lessons you receive a discount. Fee is paid in full at the first lesson.

Private Instruction Policy: Although we do offer flexibility in our scheduling, we do require 24 hours notice if a lesson needs to be rescheduled otherwise you will be charged for that lesson. Please be on time for your scheduled lesson. Lessons and gift certificates must be used within 3 months from purchase date and are non-refundable.

Class Description:
Rueda de Casino is a fun and highly interactive Cuban salsa style where couples dance in a circle. One of the dancers acts as the caller, giving dance move commands which all the couples perform. Partners swtich at the end of most moves, which means that everyone dances with everyone. Most of the moves learned in Rueda de Casino can be used to dance Casino (Cuban style salsa) with just your dance partner.
Class Requirements:
If you already dance salsa, come learn Rueda de Casino! And if you have never danced salsa or any other dance, come join us and see how much fun you can have while learning. No partner necessary, everyone dances with everyone! Bring comfortable clothes and shoes, no special shoes required. People from all levels and ages are encourage to come and have fun!

*We are still excepting Beginner A student this coming Sun. & Tue. But must able to come 35 mins early for makeup class or join us tonight's (Sat.8:30pm) Salsa dance with Free intro lesson to catch up what you missed last week. *Please contact us first to attend our group class.
This Beginner A level is for student have no experience, all other must call for approval.
